How to ask an adult for help
When confronting your parents/guardians about mental health, it is important to be open and honest. It may seem nerve-racking at first, but in the end they are the people who care for and about you have your best interest in mind. They may also have gone through similar things at your age and therefore can help you get through whatever is troubling you.
Another thing, make sure to be prepared to talk about your specific struggles. The clearer you are with them, the easier it may be for guardians to understand what you'll need going forward. Doing your own research can definitely help you get a better grasp on what you should bring up in a conversation regarding your mental health.
